June Updates
“When you listen, you learn. Remember that. In music and in life” - Mitch Albom, The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto
Peaceful greetings and thanks for checking in.
I write from the lounge of a dear friend’s home in Gimuy, Cairns. Like, one of the best. She is full of wonder. As I was doing a morning ritual, I thought about the idea of a good vs bad world and came to a point: the viewpoint has to do with whom you surround yourself. There will always be seemingly good bad, and better, but we can decide on the quality we attract by being aware of our quality.
Bless Those Friends (an original song that keeps floating around my head as I remind myself of those who support me and those who let me support them). You can check its demo phase here.
It’s June. I can and can’t believe it. I’ve been living month to month, changing the scenery as I went along and subjecting myself to opportunities for personal and professional expansion. You can read about my 6-week artist development that came from/with months of being on the Australian road – at least 20,000 km of road – and what I’ve learned about myself.
With June comes my return to Canada. I am excited to return, to share what I’ve learned from my extended time overseas meeting tribes, to build up a home base and cultivate the good soil from which collaborative projects can fruit.
Catch me at one of these performances (and/or help me get few more lined up!)
Gratitude for the gifts in everyone and everything.
Peace, wherever and however you may be.
